One of the most unique and powerful features of EnglishCentral is the ability to record your own voice - we call this “speaking a video” - and get feedback on your pronunciation.

For each line that you record in a Video, our system attempts to provide you with useful feedback about the quality of your pronunciation.

• Words where no error is detected are marked as green.
• Words for which our system suspects a pronunciation error may exist, pulsate and are marked as yellow.
• Words that were not heard at all by our system are marked as red.
• When our system hears an incorrect pause, it is marked with a red “P”.

Try re-recording lines that contain errors to improve and maximize your points. Most importantly, all the lines spoken are used to give you feedback in the Pronunciation Center and count for points both on the My Progress and Scoreboard.
