My Volume turns down automatically whenever I click "Record"

This particular issue is caused by a feature of Windows 7.

To prevent Windows from automatically adjusting volume, follow these steps:

1. Go to your computer's Start Menu.
2. Select “Control Panel”.
3. Click on “Sound”.
4. Click on “Communications”.
5. Select “Do Nothing”.
