When I was only 15 years old, my aunt who came from Italy invited me and my brother to her summer house in Bodrum. Seeing people playing volleyball, playing cards on the beach and hearing chuckles of the children gave me a cheerful vibe. Yesterday was my birthday and I give a great importance to birthday celebrations. I think everyone should feel precious once a year. Also, in my point of view there is no need for big parties. It will be enough to be celebrated by your closest friends, family, the person you are in a relationship with, and your loved ones. But I was left alone. It was an ordinary day. I woke up, had breakfast, and had a shower. Afterwards, I went outside to grab a coffee. My phone was silent. No ringing, no texting, nothing\u2026 To leave my feeling of loneliness behind, I bought a muffin with my coffee and started wandering along the street. People\u2019s laughter is ringing in my ears.
