G\u00f6beklitepe Hakk\u0131nda Genel Bilgiler<\/strong><\/h2>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu b\u00f6lgesinde, \u015eanl\u0131urfa ilinin 18 kilometre kuzeydo\u011fusunda bulunan bir Neolitik arkeolojik sit alan\u0131d\u0131r. G\u00f6beklitepe, Neolitik \u00c7a\u011f\u2019\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131nda M\u00d6 9600-9500 d\u00f6nemlerinde in\u015fa edildi. G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019nin 12 bin y\u0131l \u00f6nce in\u015fa edilmi\u015f olmas\u0131, bug\u00fcn bildi\u011fimiz medeniyetlerin hen\u00fcz var olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir d\u00f6neme i\u015faret etmektedir. D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n bilinen eski yap\u0131lar\u0131 olan Stonehenge ve M\u0131s\u0131r Piramitlerinden de daha eskidir, bu nedenle G\u00f6beklitepe d\u00fcnyadaki en eski tarihi ve arkeolojik sit b\u00f6lgesidir. G\u00f6beklitepe’nin k\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6nemi, sadece T\u00fcrkiye’de de\u011fil, d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131ndaki arkeolojik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar \u00fczerinde de etkili olmu\u015ftur. G\u00f6beklitepe is a Neolithic archaeological site located 18 kilometers northeast of \u015eanl\u0131urfa province in the Southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey. It was built at the beginning of the Neolithic between 9500-9600 BC. The fact that G\u00f6beklitepe was built ten thousand years ago, points to a period when civilizations didn’t yet exist. It is older than the world\u2019s oldest known structures, like Stonehenge and The Egyptian Pyramids, so G\u00f6beklitepe is the oldest known historical and archaeological site region in the world. The cultural significance of G\u00f6beklitepe has had an impact not only on Turkey but also on archaeological research worldwide. This ancient temple has become a center of attraction for researchers seeking to understand the evolution of humans and their ties to the past. The region where G\u00f6beklitepe is located, hosts ongoing research to further discoveries with the aim of understanding the prehistoric period.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bu arkeolojik sit, megalit ad\u0131 verilen b\u00fcy\u00fck ta\u015f s\u00fctunlar ve dairesel yap\u0131lardan olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Ayn\u0131 zamanda \u2018\u2019T\u2019\u2019 \u015feklindeki 10-12 tane devasa dikilita\u015flar dairesel \u015fekilde yap\u0131larak aralar\u0131 ta\u015flarla \u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Her dikilita\u015f ortalama 10-15 ton a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndad\u0131r. Neolitik \u00c7a\u011fa ait oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen bu devasa dikili ta\u015flar\u0131n \u00fczerinde insan el ve kol motifi, \u00e7e\u015fitli hayvan motifleri ve kabartmalar\u0131 vard\u0131r. En s\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclen hayvan motifleri bo\u011fa, tilki, y\u0131lan, akbaba, yaban domuzu ve yaban \u00f6rde\u011fidir. Uzmanlara g\u00f6re, dikili ta\u015flardaki hayvan motiflerinin, s\u00fcslemeden ziyade genellikle bir \u00f6yk\u00fc ya da bir mesaj i\u00e7erdi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. D\u00f6nemdeki insanlar\u0131n devasa dikilita\u015flar\u0131 nas\u0131l yerle\u015ftirdi\u011fi ve kabartma motiflerini hangi teknolojiyle yapt\u0131klar\u0131 hala gizemini korumaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n

This archaeological site consists of big stone columns and circular shapes, which is called \u2018\u2019megalith\u2019\u2019. At the same time, T- shaped 10-12 gigantic obelisks were constructed in a circular shape and the spaces between them were paved with stones. Every obelisk weighs 10\u201315 tons. These huge obelisks, thought to date back to the Neolithic Age, have human hand and arm motifs and various animal motifs and reliefs. The most seen animal motifs are bull, fox, snake, vulture, wild boar, and bald pate. According to researchers, it is thought that the animal motifs on the gigantic obelisks usually include a message or a story, rather than ornaments. How the people of the period placed the giant obelisks and what technology they used to create the relief motifs still remains a mystery.<\/em><\/p>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe’nin neden yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve nas\u0131l kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair sorular hala cevaplanam\u0131yor. Ama, bir\u00e7ok ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131, G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019nin o d\u00f6nemin insanlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7o\u011funlukla tap\u0131nak olarak ya da dini bir rit\u00fcel ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmektedir. \u201cT\u201d \u015feklindeki devasa dikili ta\u015flar\u0131n \u00fczerindeki oyulmu\u015f motifler de bu fikri desteklemektedir. G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019nin tap\u0131nak olarak in\u015fa edildi\u011fine dair \u015fu an i\u00e7in kesin kan\u0131t bulunmamaktad\u0131r. Di\u011fer yandan, G\u00f6beklitepe’nin buluntular\u0131, Neolitik d\u00f6nemde insanlar\u0131n sadece avc\u0131l\u0131k ve toplay\u0131c\u0131l\u0131kla u\u011fra\u015fan g\u00f6\u00e7ebe topluluklar olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, ayn\u0131 zamanda karma\u015f\u0131k bir sosyal yap\u0131ya ve inan\u00e7 sistemine sahip olduklar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor. The questions regarding why G\u00f6beklitepe was built and how it was used still cannot be answered. However, many researchers think that G\u00f6beklitepe was mostly used as a temple or for religious rituals by the people of that era. The carved motifs on the T-shaped gigantic obelisks also support this idea. There is currently no exact evidence that G\u00f6beklitepe was constructed as a temple. On the other hand, the findings of G\u00f6beklitepe show that people in the Neolithic period were not only nomadic communities engaged in hunting and gathering, but also had a complex social structure and belief system. The reliefs on the obelisks shed light on the mythological thoughts and religious rituals of that period.<\/em><\/p>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019nin Tarih\u00e7esi<\/strong><\/h2>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe ilk olarak, 1963 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi ve Chicago \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nin y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u2018\u2019G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu Tarih\u00f6ncesi Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 Projesinde\u2019\u2019 ke\u015ffedildi. Ekibin y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131 G\u00f6beklitepe’nin \u00f6nemli insan yerle\u015fimlerinden biri olma ihtimalini i\u015faret etti.<\/p>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe was first discovered carrying out the project of the Southern Eastern Anatolia Prehistory Research by the University of Istanbul and University of Chicago in 1963. The team’s survey pointed to the possibility that G\u00f6beklitepe was one of the most important human settlements.<\/em><\/p>\n

G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019nin kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, 1995 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u015eanl\u0131urfa Arkeoloji M\u00fczesi ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ve Alman Arkeoloji Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019nden Klaus Schmidt bilimsel dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. G\u00f6beklitepe\u2019deki tarihi yap\u0131lar\u0131 korumak i\u00e7in tarihi yap\u0131n\u0131n etraf\u0131na \u00e7elik \u00e7at\u0131 yap\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra 2016 y\u0131l\u0131nda ziyarete kapat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Pandemi d\u00f6neminde G\u00f6beklitepe ziyaret\u00e7ilere kapanm\u0131\u015f olsa da G\u00f6beklitepe tekrardan a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n

The excavations of G\u00f6beklitepe were carried out under the presidency of the Archaeology Museum of \u015eanl\u0131urfa and in the scientific advisory of the German Archaeological Institute from Klaus Schmidt. In order to protect the historical buildings in G\u00f6beklitepe, it was closed to visitors in 2016 after a steel roof was built around the historical building. G\u00f6beklitepe was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2018, and thus, the recognition and popularity of G\u00f6beklitepe worldwide is increasing day by day. 2019 was declared the year of G\u00f6beklitepe in Turkey.
